About the art:
I wanted to-re imagine one of the most iconic scenes from Episode I from a different perspective. I still remember the feeling of excitement as a teenager as I watched that moment unfold for the first time in theaters. The Duel of the Fates building as the suspense of a final showdown looms between Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, and Darth Maul. It was my goal to try and capture a little bit of what made that so special to me.

About the artist:
Brandon Kenney (he/him) is an artist living and working in the town of Swampscott, MA. Using a combination of traditional and digital mediums he strives to bring life and emotion to the subjects depicted in his art. Brandon has spent the past decade creating illustrations and paintings for licenses including Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and many others. His work has been featured prominently in the Disney+ movie "Muppets Haunted Mansion", and the Netflix original "The Curious Creations of Christine McConnell." This is his fourth time exhibiting at Star Wars Celebration. The show is exciting for many reasons, but it is extra special because it is where he both met his wife Karen Hallion in 2015 at the Anaheim show, and also where he proposed to her on stage during the 2019 show in Chicago.
